The team headed by professor Agnieszka Basta-Kaim participates in innovative Alzheimer's research
The Alzheimer's Association has announced a list of Early Career Investigator Grants approved for funding. Among the approved research projects there is an international grant “Drug Development of Pro-resolving ALZ/FPR2 Agonists for Alzheimer’s Disease”. We are pleased to announce that the team headed by professor Agnieszka Basta-Kaim (Department of Experimental Neuroendocrinology, IF PAS) is involved in this project.
The Science and Art Festival in the Institute of Pharmacology
Each year the Institute of Pharmacology actively participates in the Krakow Festival of Science and Art. For this year’s edition IF PAN researchers and PhD students
prepared an attractive program. A series of
lectures presented substantial scientific ideas related to neurobiology
and pharmacology in an easily
accessible language. The participants were also invited to the institute
laboratories. The Science Festival in the IF PAN has been
coordinated by dr hab. Agnieszka Wąsik.
Registration for the 3rd Central European Biomedical Congress has started
We are pleased to announce that registration for the 3rd Central European Biomedical Congress is now open. The Congress entitled "News on biomarker discovery and research innovations in medicine and biomedical sciences" will be held in Kraków, September 15-18 2018. The conference is organized by the Institute of Pharmacology Polish Academy of Sciences in Kraków, the Jagiellonian University Medical College, Faculty of Medicine with cooperation with Polish Pharmacological Society and Polish Society of Toxicology.
