The Science and Art Festival in the Institute of Pharmacology The Science and Art Festival in the Institute of Pharmacology Each year the Institute of Pharmacology actively participates in the Krakow Festival of Science and Art. For this year’s edition IF PAN researchers and PhD students prepared an attractive program. A series of lectures presented substantial scientific ideas related to neurobiology and pharmacology in an easily accessible language. The participants were also invited to the institute laboratories. The Science Festival in the IF PAN has been coordinated by dr hab. Agnieszka Wąsik.

Lefkowitz from the Duke University Medical Center (USA) visited the Institute of Pharmacology. In 2012 Professors Robert J. Lefkowitz and Brian Kobilka were awarded jointly the Nobel Prize in chemistry for studies of G-protein-coupled receptors. Professor Lefkowitz accepted an invitation to deliver a lecture entitled "SEVEN TRANSMEMBRANE RECEPTORS".
