Three PhD students form the Institute of Pharmacology received the President of the Polish Academy of Sciences Scholarship

The president of the PAS professor Jerzy Duszyński has awarded scholarships for outstanding achievements to participants of doctoral studies at the PAS research institutes for the academic year 2018/2019. We are very pleased to announce that among the ten winners representing various disciplines from all over Poland, there are three PhD students from the Institute of Pharmacology of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Krakow.


Katarzyna Anna Chamera is conducting her doctoral thesis at the Department of Experimental Neuroendocrinology under the supervision of professor Agnieszka Basta-Kaim.
Klaudia Kwiatkowski represents the Department of Pain Pharmacology, the scientific supervisor of her doctoral thesis is professor Joanna Mika.
Marta Szlachta is conducting her doctoral thesis at the Laboratory of Pharmacology of Biochemistry of the Department of Pharmacology under the supervision of professor Marta Dziedzicka-Wasylewska.

A ceremony of awarding scholarships will take place on 7 December in Warsaw.
