The Club of the Foundation for Polish Science Scholars Meeting, May 19-21. Dr hab. Katarzyna Starowicz-Bubak became Club President.

On May 19-21 there was the May Meeting of the Club of the Foundation for Polish Science Scholars in Przegorzały. During the Congress, there was a debate regarding the excellence in science, attended by prof. Włodzimierz Bolecki, prof. Michał Karoński and prof. Leszek Kaczmarek. The participants attempted to diagnose the condition of scientific research in our country, taking into account, the systemic and administrative constraints and, on the other hand, a radical change in the research funding system, which occurred 6 years ago, following the formation of the National Science Center (NCN). Participants all agreed on the priorities, such as the high quality of research and the implementation of transparent and flexible system solutions.

The Congress has elected new Club authorities for 2017-2019. We are pleased to inform  that dr hab. Katarzyna Starowicz-Bubak from the Institute of Pharmacology in Kraków became President of the Club.

The Club of the Foundation for Polish Science Scholars is involved in the organization of an international conference Polish Scientific Networks: Science & Medicine.
