On October 10, 2017, at PAU in Kraków a scientific session was held, dedicated to the memory of professors: Jerzy Vetulani and Krzysztof Wędzony.

On October 10, 2017, a scientific session, dedicated to the memory of Professor Jerzy Vetulani (1936-2017), the former Deputy Director and the Head of the Department of Biochemistry in the Institute of Pharmacology Polish Academy of Sciences in Kraków and Prof. Krzysztof Wędzony (1955- 2016), the Director of the Institute of Pharmacology of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Head of the Department of Pharmacology and the Laboratory of Pharmacology and Brain Biostructure, was held. The conference was organized by the Institute of Pharmacology Polish Academy of Sciences in Krakow, represented by prof. Irena Nalepa, dr hab. Marzena Maćkowiak, dr hab. Agnieszka Chocyk and Anna Krzemińska, in collaboration with Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences. The conference gathered colleagues, friends and former students of both Professors, who reminisced and noted their work and notable contributions in the field of neuropsychopharmacology.
