Lecture on July 11, 2024 - Dr Koola, Maju M.

We are pleased to invite you to an lecture titled "KYNA-NMDA-α7nAChR Centric Pathophysiology: Is This What We Have Been Waiting for?" to be delivered by Dr Koola, Maju M.  The lecture will take place in the conference hall on July 11, 2024, at 2:00 PM.

Dr. Koola is a distinguished scientist specializing in the biological underpinnings of mental disorders, including schizophrenia, and their treatment. During the lecture, he will present the latest hypotheses regarding the role of kynurenic acid, α7 nicotinic receptor antagonists, and NMDA receptors in central nervous system disorders and their therapeutic implications. Dr. Koola has authored over 70 publications in this field and has collaborated with, among others, Dr. Agnieszka Nikiforuk from our Institute.
