Lecture 6th of March, 2024 11 a.m. Bogna Ignatowska-Jankowska, PhD

We are honored to invite you to an open lecture scheduled to take place in the conference hall of IF PAN at 11 a.m. on the 6th of March, 2024. The lecture, entitled Distinct behavioral phenotypes induced by endocannabinoid modulation in high-precision 3D motion capture of freely moving mice, will be delivered by Bogna Ignatowska-Jankowska, PhD from the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology.

Bogna Ignatowska-Jankowska is a distinguished scientist in the field of biology, having earned her Ph.D. in biological sciences in 2011 at the University of Gdańsk, where she investigated the in vivo effects of cannabidiol on rats. She furthered her scientific career with postdoctoral research at the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at Virginia Commonwealth University, collaborating with Professor Aron Lichtman on modulating the endocannabinoid system in mice. Continuing her postdoctoral studies at the Hebrew University, she has been advancing her research passions at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology since 2017, where she developed an innovative method for analyzing the precise kinematics of mice movements using 3D motion capture technology.

We look forward to seeing you at the lecture!
