Grant for the EpiAD project
As a result of 2017 JPND (EU Joint Programme - Neurodegenerative Disease Research) call for “Multinational research projects for pathway analysis across neurodegenerative diseases”, the project intitled : EpiAD: Effect of early and adult-life stress on the brain epigenome: relevance for the occurrence of Alzheimer’s Disease and Diabetes-related dementia have been suggested for funding. The project will be implemented in cooperation between centers in Germany (Prof. Froylan Calderon de Anda, Universitätsklinikum Hamburg-Eppendorf), Spain (Prof. Ana Frank-Garcia, Hospital Universitario La Paz (UAM)) and in Poland. On the Polish side, the partner is the Institute of Pharmacology of the Polish Academy of Sciences represented by prof. Agnieszka Basta-Kaim.
