Platform for the development of pharmacotherapy for nervous system diseases

Maj Institute of Pharmacology named after Jerzy Maj of the Polish Academy of Sciences is implementing project No. NdS/537126/2021/2021 entitled "Platform for the development of pharmacotherapy for nervous system diseases" financed from the state budget under the program of the Minister of Education and Science entitled "Science for society". The aim of the project is to create an active platform of cooperation between the R&D sector and enterprises, and the Maj Institute of Pharmacology  Polish Academy of Sciences. The new platform will support the transfer of knowledge and biomedical technologies and will enable the provision of resources in the area of new drug discovery. The main assumption of the project is to improve the effectiveness of cooperation between science and the economic environment, initiate innovative activities and facilitate the creation of scientific and industrial consortiums. The project will digitize experimental results and implement the LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) to improve communication, tighten intellectual property protection and enable quick access to research results. By disseminating scientific research, the new pharmacotherapy development platform will integrate the scientific community in the field of pharmaceutical and biomedical sciences. Its primary goal is to expand the possibilities of developing therapies for diseases of the central nervous system that are a priority for the future of Polish society.
