The book 50 years of the Institute of Pharmacology of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Krakow, edited by prof. Barbara Przewłocka, published in 2004 on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Institute of Pharmacology, contains a summary of the most important events in the history of the institute and the achievements of its employees in the years 1954-2004. On the basis of texts, documents, illustrations and numerous archival photographs, the reader can trace how the institute's research profile, research techniques, premises, equipment and organizational structure changed in the following decades.
